SINGAPORE: Two teenagers died in an accident along Old Upper Thomson Road on Tuesday.
Police said they were both rear passengers of a car which was carrying a total of four people.
The accident happened about 11:45pm.
The car had apparently been travelling towards Seletar Expressway (SLE) and was negotiating a bend when it fell into a ditch.
Before it landed, the vehicle also hit a tree near lamp post 64.
The four were trapped in the car and had to be helped by Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers.
The two who died are Chinese males in their late teens.
One suffered head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at 12.30am.
The other was brought to Tan Tock Seng Hospital unconscious and died in hospital about an hour later.
The driver and his front passenger were also injured and were sent to the Singapore General Hospital.
